Exhibitions & Galleries
Ray has had one man shows of Postman Pat and other illustrations, as well as of paintings since 2004.
Recent exhibitions:
*One man show of 65-70 pieces of Postman Pat artwork during August at Newby Hall, Near Ripon in 2004 & 2005 & 2005 & 2007 and 2008
*From December 2007 to February 2008, Ray exhibited Postman Pat Illustrations at Preston Hall Museum, Nr Stockton-on Tees to raise funds for the Butterwick Children's Hospice.
*He had a one man retrospective show of paintings at The Heild gallery in 2005.
*He was featured in "Yorkshire Life" in March 2008
*His paintings were selected for the Great North Art Show in 2006 & 2007 & 2008 & 2009
*The March Hare Gallery, Ripon had a one man feature exhibition of recent paintings in August 2011
*"A Little Imagination", a solo painting show was at Art in the Mill, Knaresborough during December 2011
*"Postman Pat & Others". 70 illustrations, was at the National Trust Nunnington Hall, York in July & August 2012.
*A one-man show of illustrations was held at National Trust Beningbrough Hall from 27th July to 15th September 2013
This included Rupert drawings, Postman Pat illustrations and originals from a recently re-published book of traditional Tales and Rhymes.
*He was also featured in "Living North" summer edition in 2013.
*His fund raising show, featuring both paintings and illustrations, at St. Michael's Hospice was held over the weekend of 18th &1 9th April 2015.
* From 2nd to 16th March 2015, Tennant's Auctioneers, of Leyburn, displayed his illustrations in their Ultra Modern Garden Gallery.
* A Painting and a drawing were incuded in the 2015 Mercer Gallery Open Exhibition.
*2016. 23rd April to 26th June. 56 pieces, half paintings, half illustrations, were on display at Preston Hall Museum gallery, Nr Stockton.
*Also in 2016, during July and August, Eight of Ray's commissioned illustrations - depicting The Wind in the Willows in Knaresborough settings- were displayed in schools and the library. Four of these were published as prints and used as fund raisers for the community drama event. He also designed a striking logo.
*2018. Ray has had 6 works accepted for The Great North Art Show to be held in Ripon Cathedral in September.
